How to Decline Signing
Any participant in a document (eg. The buyer, seller, or a cooperating party) has the option to decline to sign it.
If the participant has been sent the document(s) via email and has used the ‘Open’ link to review, a ‘Decline Signing’ button will appear under ‘Additional Options’:
If the participant has entered a signing session using your account (eg. If you’re logged into Remine Docs+ and have handed your device to your client to sign) there will be an option to ‘Decline Signing’ in the upper right:
After entering a reason for declining, they can click ‘Decline’ to exit the signing session. The agent who initiated the signing session will be notified of the ‘Decline to sign’ via email.
